Have you ever checked out airbnb? On their site, you can find places to stay in over 192 countries... and they're all apartments, rooms, or unique spaces instead of hotels. Sometimes I think it would be really fun to visit a place and get to live like a local (plus, it's often a little cheaper).
We've been tossing around the idea of a trip to Austin for awhile now, and I've been day-dreaming by looking at rentals online. Here are four I'm digging...
01. A quirky Austin bungalow in the heart of SoCo. Get the local experience from a very kind and helpful host (named Chris!).
02. A precious cottage in the Zilker Park neighborhood. Original 1940's home within walking distance of some great restaurants and bars.
03. Historical loft with a Capitol view. Walking distance to all of downtown, although no free parking during the day.
04. Two bedroom vintage Eastside house. This one's the dream . I'd love to split this place with another couple. Just check out that backyard!!!
What do you think? Would you consider staying in a house or apartment over a hotel? Thoughts on location in Austin? I'd love to know your thoughts.
Also... the winner of the "Courage, Strength, Hope" print is Shira Anne Farabaugh! Congratulations! I'll be reaching out to you soon. Thank you to everyone who participated in #tpafindacure and helped to raise awareness about breast cancer!
