As a child, I would go exploring through the many pathways snaking between the houses in Seaside, and I would often stumble upon interesting artwork and sculptures. On the far west side of town there's a small clearing with a giant sundial in the middle of it. There's a set of steps built up nearby, and you can climb to the top of the steps to see the sundial from overhead. It feels incredibly secret, and this is where Chris and I had our first look. We heard loud thunder throughout the time we spent together, but amazingly the rain held off. We were anxious... and excited.
