Today I'm getting to share with you a really special project – a video just for you, readers. Since "hitting refresh" on the blog back in January, the Lord has used TPA in the most incredible ways. I've been honored to share with you the stories of so many incredible women, tips and tricks for getting your dream blog off the ground (and even one-on-one mentoring!), and my thoughts about how living for Christ shapes my life. I am so thankful, not only to be able to do this (the internet is awesome), but I'm also thankful for you, sweet sweet readers, who keep coming back and are sharing the joy.
When I first started the blog, a large number of you were people who knew me personally, and over time there have been more and more newcomers joining in. This video is for you, newcomers, to get to know me – that I am indeed, a human being, but most of all, that I'm just like you. I have fears. I've faced failures. And I still dream. But also, this video is for those of you who've known me all along, because I'd love for you to hear a deeper part of my story. It takes the story of That's Pretty Ace full circle – sharing who I am and how the joys and burdens placed on my heart have been shaped by God into something bigger than me, but also something intimately special... this blog. I hope this video brings you happiness and hope, and that it inspires you to chase what God has placed before you :)
You can also find this video on my "WHO" page now – since it does such a perfect job of explaining who I am and what the blog is. So if you ever need a little pick me up, you can check it out there!
A very, very special thanks goes to Rosalee Chan. I met Rosalee through work, and she is such a pleasure to be around. She's so kind and giving, always bringing snacks to work and asking people how their day is going. She might be one of the most genuine people I've ever met :) She has so much creativity to share, and working with her was a dream (you can tell I was a little stiff and nervous starting out, and Rosalee was a great encouragement)! If you ever have video needs... contact this girl. She's so wonderful. You can check out her work on her Vimeo page. Also, I do encourage you to select "HD" when watching this video so you can enjoy Rosalee's work at the highest quality!
Thanks also to my dear friend Sarah Brooks for doing my makeup for the video! Girl knows I need help. Thanks for serving me on a special day :)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! See you on Monday :)
